We’re hiring! Customer Service & Finance Administrator

Purpose of the Role:

As a Customer Services & Finance Administrator you will contribute to deliver your department’s goals in a manner which is aligned to the Fox Group purpose, values, and strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently handle and manage incoming orders, enquiries, and service requests, ensuring high-quality, timely, and professional responses.
  • Offer customers detailed product information, pricing, and suitable options to enhance turnover, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately process sales orders, ensuring precision and attention to detail at all times.
  • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities by upselling and cross-selling products and services.
  • Actively promote the Vending Business Unit and Fox Group Companies as the preferred supplier for customers in both Jersey and Guernsey.
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings to provide informed customer support.
  • Accurately record supplier invoices, process payments, and reconcile supplier statements to maintain an up-to-date purchase ledger.
  • Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments, send reminders, and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collections.
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements and accounts payable/receivable ledgers, ensuring accuracy and promptly addressing discrepancies.
  • Provide additional administrative support to the finance team as needed.
  • Demonstrate role-model communication capability when working with colleagues across our business, delivering to our internal and external customers and in our offices

 

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Strong level of written and spoken English
  • Excellent customer service attitude and a professional and courteous manner
  • Strong communication and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment and resilience under pressure
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Desirable previous experience in customer service roles, with a solid understanding of basic financial processes such as invoicing, payment processing, and credit control.

 

Hours of Work

Normal working hours are 37.5 hrs per Monday to Friday and you may be required, on occasion, to work overtime to meet business needs.
