We’re hiring! Sales Representative – Foodservice (Jersey)

Purpose of the Role:

As our Sales Representative, you’ll be at the heart of our growth strategy, cultivating lasting relationships with our valued customers within the hospitality industry. You’ll connect with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner in their success. Your insights will directly impact our business and help shape the future of our offerings. This position will require occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Drive sales and pipeline business to meet our targets and budgets
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong connections with customers to find new business opportunities and retain existing accounts.
  • Implement Sales Activities: Effectively carry out planned sales activities to maximise results.
  • Plan Your Schedule: Meet coverage targets by effectively planning your daily and weekly routes.
  • Review Performance: Regularly assess sales strategies to ensure they deliver solid returns and healthy margins.
  • Support Promotions: Help execute promotional activities that engage our customers.
  • Analyse Data: Provide regular analysis of customer sales and profitability to inform our strategy, working closely with the Head of Sales.
  • Assist in Strategy Planning: Support the senior sales team in developing the annual sales strategy and setting targets.
  • Stay Informed: Monitor and report on important market changes, trading trends, and competitor activities that could affect our business.

 

Experience/Skills Required:

Experience and Education:

  • Experience working within the Food/Hospitality industry
  • Preferably experience in Sales position.
  • Clean driving licence
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc)

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

 

Hours of Work

Normal working hours are 37.5 per week over five days and you may be required, on occasion, to work overtime to meet business needs.
