We’re Hiring! Seasonal Store Person/Driver – Jersey

We are looking for a Seasonal Store Person and Store Person/Driver to join the Warehouse team here at JJ Fox Trading Ltd. You do not need direct experience for the roles we are offering. Purpose of the Role:

The primary purpose of this position is to accurately pick, stage, load and deliver customer orders. The successful applicant needs to be physically fit, well organised, have an excellent eye for detail and understand what it means to be a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

Role Specific:

• Pick orders accurately and efficiently and stage orders in accordance with the delivery schedules
• Deliver goods to customers in compliance with customer delivery instructions and adhere to customer security and/or health and safety requirements (applicable to Driver role)
• Report any stock discrepancies, damages and/or date issues to management
• Load orders onto Goods In/appropriate Warehouse areas
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensure the provided equipment are kept clean and maintained and that all faults, incidents, and accidents are reported immediately to management
• Prepare for and participate in stock takes
• Perform various other duties as required
• Enforce the Company’s Health and Safety rules and regulations and security standards

Experience/Skills Required:

 Essential:

• 5 years residency in Jersey Channel Islands, holding an Entitled to Work Registration Card

• Clean Driving License that can drive Medium Goods Vehicles or above (applicable only to driver role)
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Basic knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Excellent team player
• Good time management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment

An Advantage:

• Heavy Goods Vehicle License
• Fork lift licence
• Reach truck licence
• Experience with scanning programs

Hours of Work

Normal working hours are 40 per week between Sunday – Friday, with Saturdays off and another day in the week. You may be required, on occasion, to work overtime to meet business needs.
