Role Overview:

As a Vending Services Supervisor, you will lead and inspire our team to deliver on our mission. You will manage the department’s workload, ensuring top-notch performance and customer service. You will be the primary point of contact for customer service requests, overseeing reactive and planned maintenance requirements, inventory, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Guide and support your team to embody our values and achieve our goals.
• Customer Service: Be the go-to person for all customer service needs, building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Operations Management: Optimise departmental efficiency, manage inventory, and ensure equipment maintenance and cleanliness.
• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe working environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, holding regular team meetings, and encouraging open communication.

Experience and Skills:

• Effective Communication: Strong communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Technical Knowledge: Technical background or equivalent qualification; good understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Customer Service: Excellent aptitude for customer service with a professional and courteous manner.
• Organisational Skills: High level of self-motivation and organization.
• Software Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of Office 365.

Qualifications:

• Educated to at least A-level or degree level.
• Experience in operations, facilities management, health and safety, policy and procedure development.
• IOSH standards training.
• First Aid at Work and Fire Marshal certification.

Reporting:

This role reports directly to the Director of the Vending Business Unit.

Hours of Work:

Normal working hours are 37.5 per week over five days and you may be required, on occasion, to work overtime to meet business needs
