We’re Hiring! Seasonal Store Person/Driver – Easenmyne (Jersey)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Fox Trading Group team in Jersey as a Seasonal Store Person/Driver at Easenmyne.

We’re looking for a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic individual to support our team during the busy seasonal period. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operation, helping to ensure customer orders are picked, prepared, loaded and delivered accurately and on time.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being active, takes pride in providing a high level of service, and is comfortable working as part of a friendly, supportive and fast-paced team.

As a Seasonal Store Person/Driver, you will play an important role in supporting the team and helping the business move forward, while demonstrating the Fox Trading Group purpose, values and strategy in your day-to-day work.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A good level of written and spoken English
  • A professional, courteous manner and a positive customer service attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to work well in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • A resilient and flexible approach under pressure
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick orders accurately and efficiently and stage orders in accordance with the delivery schedules
  • Report any stock discrepancies, damages and/or date issues to management
  • Load orders onto delivery vehicles
  • Deliver goods to customers in compliance with customer delivery instructions and adhere to customer security and/or health and safety requirements
  • Notify management if delivery requirements cannot be met and be able to negotiate a workable solution for all parties
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensure the provided equipment and vehicles are kept clean and maintained and that all faults, incidents and accidents are reported immediately to management
  • Prepare for and participate in stock takes
  • Perform various other duties as required

 

Requirements:

  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Excellent customer service attitude and a professional and courteous manner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment and resilience under pressure
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks
  • Clean driving licence
  • Physically fit
