Quick Tips to Prevent a Callout

Is the machine plugged in, is the socket switched on, is the machine switched on?
Have you tested the socket to ensure there is power to that socket?

Switch the mains power off for at least 30 seconds, switch it back on and wait 2 minutes, does the fault remain?
For machines without a mains water supply, is there water in the tank or bottle?
