We’re hiring! Credit Controller (Part-time)

A part time opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join our friendly Credit Control team here at JJ Fox Trading Ltd. We are looking for an individual who can build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, be able to listen well to customers and negotiate winning solutions, and have high degree of numerical skill and aptitude, including exceptional attention to details.  If you feel you have these attributes this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

 Purpose of the Role:

The primary purpose of this role is to maximise the collection of overdue funds by interacting with Customers to obtain settlement within agreed credit terms and negotiate payment plans in line with Company policy and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtaining documentation and undertaking credit checks in support of new Customer Accounts requesting credit
• Maintaining Credit Limits as authorised by the Administration Manager
• Uploading, checking and posting receipts to the accounting system
• Reviewing and amending automated allocations where necessary
• Reviewing unallocated receipts / credit notes and allocating correctly where applicable
• Preparation and review of periodic Customer Statements and other reports as directed
• Take a proactive role in managing and collecting the debts of company debtors
• Ensuring timely payment of debts

Experience/Skills Required:

Essential:

• A high degree of numerical skill and aptitude
• Excellent knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)

An Advantage:

• Experience in a similar role

Hours of Work

The working hours for this role are 15 – 20 per week. It would be expected that the successful candidate works 5 mornings per week, between 3 to 4 hours per day.
