Purpose of the Role:

The primary purpose of this position is to accurately pick customer orders during the night shift. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be responsible for selecting the correct items, verifying their quality, and packaging them appropriately. Your physical fitness is important, as you will be required to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items.

Key Responsibilities:

Role Specific:

• Pick orders accurately and efficiently and stage orders in accordance with the delivery schedules 

• Report any stock discrepancies, damages and/or date issues to management 

• Load orders onto Goods In/appropriate Warehouse areas 

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensure the provided equipment are kept clean and maintained and that all faults, incidents, and accidents are reported immediately to management 

• Prepare for and participate in stock takes
• Perform various other duties as required

• Enforce the Company’s Health and Safety rules and regulations and security standards

Experience/Skills Required:

Essential:

• 5 years residency in Jersey Channel Islands, holding an Entitled to Work Registration Card 

• Good Level of written and spoken English 

• Strong communication and numeracy skills 

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy items, and perform physically  demanding tasks throughout the shift. 

• Availability for Shift Work: Willingness to work during night shifts or other shifts as  necessary, accommodating the needs of the business. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment and resilience under pressure
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

An Advantage:

• Forklift licence
• Experience with scanning programs 


Hours of Work 


Normal working hours are 40 per week between Sunday – Friday, with Saturdays off and another day in the week. You may be required, on occasion, to work overtime to meet business needs.
