We’re hiring! Night Shift Sales Order Processor – Jersey

JJ Fox Trading Ltd is seeking a Sales Order Processor to join their customer service focused team, which will entail taking and processing orders from customers on the phone and via email. You will need to have an eye for detail and be able to learn our vast number of products. The ideal candidate will come from an office environment/tele sales environment with previous customer service experience within hospitality or retail, and ideally has had exposure to the products we provide.


Purpose of role:

The successful candidate will be based in our office and will provide an exceptional level of customer service by acting as the first point of contact for customers on the phone and via email wishing to make orders, and providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the products and services we offer, addressing their needs, advising them on the best products and services they may require, and re-directing calls to specialists who can further support them with their queries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take orders from customers via telephone or email and processing them through the system accurately and efficiently
  • Upsell products and services to customers at any given opportunity
    • Provide advice and guidance on product selection
    • Resolve or refer customer complaints
    • Ensure accurate communication of messages
    • Retrieve orders from various sources
    • Assist with customers visiting the office
    • Consult with sales representatives and warehouse staff with customer queries
    • Setting up recurring orders
    • Provide cover for Showroom on occasion
    • Assist in other areas of the administration office as and when required including but not limited to scanning and filing of hard copy invoices and processing invoices for payment.


Experience Required:

  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Desirable to have previous experience working in a customer service focused role
  • Desirable to come from a hospitality or retail background with knowledge of products we provide
  • A high level of self-motivation and organisation
  • Ability to lead a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • An excellent customer service aptitude and a professional and courteous manner
  • A high level of self-awareness to remain calm under pressure and therefore be able to provide excellent customer service at all times.


 Hours of Work

This position is based on a 27hr week Sunday to Friday with flexibility to work additional hours on occasion, if and when required by the business. This role requires the incumbent to work Sunday to Friday from 18:30pm – 23:00pm. Training will need to be given during normal working hours (8:00am – 4:30pm). Once the incumbent is fully trained the role will move to nighttime shifts as outlined above, which can be worked from home. Relevant equipment will be provided.
