We’re hiring! Payroll & HR Assistant- Part Time

We are looking for an experienced Payroll and HR Assistant to join our dynamic and lively HR department on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an HR & Payroll environment, and enjoy following administrative tasks through from start to finish.  If you have the relevant experience and relish the opportunity to play a part to support the Company go through a period of growth, we would love to hear from you!

Purpose of the Role:

The main purpose of this role is to provide administration support to the HR Business Partner, this will include handling day-to-day administration tasks relating to HR, and also being responsible for the collation, input, and subsequent processing of the monthly payroll for the Group, and liaison with third parties regarding the Company benefits.

 

Key Responsibilities:

HR Administration

  • Process all new starters and leavers including production of employment contracts, induction packs, reference requests, company handbooks, leaver letters and holiday payments.
  • Process all paperwork associated with employment changes and variations to contracts.
  • Create and maintain all employee personnel files, ensuring archiving of leavers and cleansing of information held in line with the Data Protection Act.
  • Assist with any recruitment administration, including employment applications and ensure safer recruitment practices are met
  • Maintain the HR Database including sick absence reporting

Payroll & Benefits

  • Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Process monthly and quarterly statutory returns
  • Contact point for 3rd party benefit advisers

 

Experience/Skills Required:

Essential:

  • Experience working in Payroll and HR
  • Exceptional administration, communication and inter-personal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Office 365

An Advantage:

  • Commercial experience in a similar role
  • CIPD qualifications

Hours of Work

20 hours per week, 4 hours per day from Monday to Friday.
