We’re hiring! Senior Business Developer – Channel Islands

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to join the JJ Fox team as a Senior Business Developer who will maximise our relationships over both Jersey and Guernsey to develop and expand our sales pipeline. We are looking for someone who is a go-getter and has at least 5 years’ experience working as a business developer within Corporate, Finance, Hospitality or Wholesale Channels. If you have this experience and are looking for an exciting new role in a growing business, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! You must already have relationships established across Jersey and Guernsey in the above channels.

 Purpose of the role:

Field based Senior Business Developer will have with the primary focus of delivering new business in a defined territory in all sales Channels. They will :

• Operate in a sales target driven environment across the Bailiwick.
• Research and prospect potential new business opportunities for Fox in defined area planning and securing appointments with potential customers.
• Understand competitor activity and propositions to create the tailored proposals for customers and retain business long term.
• Take on new Pipeline generated by Account Managers and Directors.

Experience/Skills Required:

• Tenacity and resilience.
• A pro-active approach to sales, with a strong desire and ability to win, on board and grow commercial new business.
• Experience of customer relationship management and developing a partnership sale approach.
• The capability to interpret, understand and act upon financial data through numeric, commercial and verbal reasoning.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written a must.
• Project and event management experience.
• Proven sales track record. 
• In a previous senior business development role for a minimum of five years.

Hours of Work

Normal working hours are 37.5 per week over five days and you may be required, on occasion, to work overtime to meet business needs.
