An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Fox Trading Group team in Guernsey as a Service Manager at The Refresh Collectiv.

Role Scope:

The Service Manager is a proactive and adaptable leader responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a positive team culture, and delivering high-quality service in line with the Group’s Purpose and Values. With strong communication and problem-solving skills, they oversee departmental performance, customer service, logistics, and compliance, while supporting team development and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the team to achieve its purpose and live its values
  • Manage workload, performance, and service levels across the department
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer service requests
  • Oversee inventory for spare parts, equipment, and water cooler operations
  • Issue and control work orders, stock records, and machine audits
  • Conduct on-site risk assessments and coordinate logistics for installations and removals
  • Ensure service quality and cleanliness meet high standards
  • Build strong relationships with both customers and suppliers
  • Develop the team’s skills and performance, promoting continuous improvement
  • Produce regular departmental performance reports
  • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety legislation and internal procedures
  • Ensure equipment is well-maintained and hygienic, in line with industry best practice
  • Perform both reactive and scheduled maintenance
  • Uphold and communicate procedures and standards clearly across the team
  • Monitor team compliance and address areas for improvement
  • Hold regular team check-ins and meetings for upward and two-way communication
  • Schedule and coordinate team members in line with business needs
  • Embed best practices in inbound and outbound logistics
  • Foster motivation and provide professional support to colleagues
  • Regularly review employee performance

Requirements:

  • Ability to research, assess and make informed decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Self-motivated and well-organised
  • Strategic thinker with commercial awareness
  • Excellent customer service skills and a courteous, professional manner
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety (IOSH trained preferred)
  • Engineering background or equivalent qualification desirable
  • Educated to at least A-level or equivalent; degree preferred
  • Experience in operations, facilities management, and policy development
  • Proficient in Office 365
  • First Aid at Work certification
  • Fire Marshal certification
