We’re Hiring! Store Person/Driver – Jersey

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Fox Trading Group Jersey Team as a Store Person/Driver. 

Purpose of the Role:

The primary purpose of this position is to accurately pick, stage, load and deliver customer orders. The successful applicant needs to be physically fit, well organised, have an excellent eye for detail and understand what it means to be a team player. As a Store Person / Driver you will contribute to deliver your department’s goals in a manner which is aligned to the Fox Trading Group purpose, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

 Role Specific:

• Pick orders accurately and efficiently and stage orders in accordance with the delivery schedules
• Report any stock discrepancies, damages and/or date issues to management
• Load orders onto delivery vehicles
• Deliver goods to customers in compliance with customer delivery instructions and adhere to customer security and/or health and safety requirements
• Notify management if delivery requirements cannot be met and be able to negotiate a workable solution for all parties
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensure the provided equipment and vehicles are kept clean and maintained and that all faults, incidents and accidents are reported immediately to management
• Prepare for and participate in stock takes
• Perform various other duties as required

Experience/Skills Required:

 Essential:

• Good level of written and spoken English
• Excellent customer service attitude and a professional and courteous manner
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment and resilience under pressure
• Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks
• Clean driving licence
• Physically fit
• Ability to work phone (Android) devices
• Excellent team player

An Advantage:

• Heavy Goods Vehicle License

• Prior experience of working with ‘sign on glass’ handheld phone devices
• Experience with scanning programs

Hours of Work

 Normal working hours are 40 hrs per week. You may be required, on occasion, to work overtime to meet business needs.
