An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the JJ Fox team as a Vending Operator.

As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation and ensuring excellent customer experience. Serving as the initial point of contact with our customers, your responsibilities will include restocking, cleaning, and maintaining various hot drinks and snack vending machines according to a predetermined schedule.

Purpose of the Role:

As a Vending Operator, your main purpose is to ensure seamless operation and maintenance of vending machines, thereby guaranteeing uninterrupted, excellent service to our customers. You will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to customer satisfaction by diligently managing stock levels, addressing equipment issues promptly, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and functionality across all machines. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between our company and our clients, fostering positive relationships and addressing any concerns to uphold our reputation for excellence in service delivery. Your role is integral to enhancing the overall customer experience and contributing to the success of our vending operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer focus:

• To liaise with our customers to ensure their needs are fulfilled, and ensure they always have adequate stocks onsite.
• To follow clients’ procedures concerning access, security and health and safety measures, and report all customer feedback, both positive and negative, to your line manager to enable a continuous improvement approach to build better business.
• Developing and maintaining a continuous improvement approach to help improve customer service levels, quality standards, productivity and efficiency.

2. Equipment focus:

• Replenish, clean, and maintain a variety of hot drinks and snack vending machines according to provided schedules, training, and quality standards.
• Manage expiry dates and address minor equipment faults on site, promptly reporting major faults to line managers.
• Maintain adequate van stock levels, ensuring all items are organised, secured, and clean within the vehicle, and keep the vehicle clean and tidy.
• Providing cover for other roles within the vending division as required, including assisting with installations and delivery of 9l water bottles, and performing various other duties as required

Experience/Skills Required:

Essential:

• Clean driving licence
• Basic knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• CRB clearance
• Customer Service Orientated

An Advantage:

• DIY Skills
• Basic food hygiene certificate
• Knowledge of the island

Hours of Work:

The standard working week consists of 40 hours spread over five days, with occasional overtime required to fulfil business demands. Early morning starts may be necessary to accommodate the needs of our customers.
