Corporate & Social Responsibilities at Fox
Despite the challenges over the last few years, at Fox, our commitment to our local community hasn’t dwindled. As one of the Channel Islands’ largest wholesale suppliers, we always strive to do the best by our islands and a significant part of that means never losing sight of the importance of giving back.
To mark how seriously we take this responsibility, here is a summary of the community initiatives Fox & Easenmyne have supported over recent months…
Supporting Local Charities and Events ..
The JJ Fox Open Art Competition across both Jersey and Guernsey continues to be a pleasure to support and is always a real highlight of our calendar year.
In addition to this, Fox & Easenmyne have also got involved in many other local events and happenings over the course of a challenging few years for the island communities. A particularly poignant initiative that we supported towards the end of 2021 was the Maillards Memory Garden, a pop-up winter wonderland set up on the Jersey high street where islanders could honour loved ones no longer with us around Christmas time.
We’re really proud of all the organisations and charities we sponsor who work tirelessly to put on major events and provide much needed support for islanders across both Jersey and Guernsey.
We continue to support Jersey and Guernsey’s Hospitality Association as a member and sponsor, and we’re delighted to be a small part of their ongoing advocacy for the local hospitality industries. We’re also a long-time supporter of the Marathons in both islands, celebrating sporting acumen and stamina of the highest level.
Working with Local Organisations in 2022…
Fox & Easenmyne are proud to back our chosen charity, Caring Cooks, in their mission to provide Jersey’s children and young people with nutritious meals at school and at home. From contributing parcels delivered to islanders nominated by the public as ‘Liberation heroes’, to supporting various sporting events or making donations to local charities including Les Amis, Diabetes Jersey, Mind Jersey and Variety Jersey – Fox prides itself on having community at its heart.
2022 has also got off to a flying start in terms of community efforts, with Fox & Easenmyne supplying a number of events with refreshments and raffle prizes – including major sporting organisations like Hockey Club, Golf Club, Jersey Rugby in addition to the De La Salle Walk and other Jersey Hospitality Association events.
Looking ahead, we’re also thrilled to be sponsoring the Family Category at the IoD Director of the Year Awards in September of this year.
We’d also like to make a special mention of the fundraising efforts of our very own team. Together with our sister company Easenmyne, our staff in both Jersey and Guernsey were treated to a pastry breakfast and invited to make donations to the Jersey Women’s Refuge for International Women’s Day. As a result of this (and after the company matched donations made by colleagues) our team managed to raise £550 for this very important cause.
We’re excited for more opportunities to show up for our community in 2022.
